Too Human
If you mix heartfelt vocals and lyrical storytelling with polished songwriting and superb musicianship you wind up with Too Human - aka Ellen Schwartz and Roger Bruno, two local musicians whose music has made an international impact through the years. Their songs tickle your ears with their inventiveness and move your spirit with their truthfulness. When Ellen's husky, sensuous vocals blend with the flowing, pointillistic backdrop of Roger's percussion and keys, their unique sound becomes transcendent. Originally from NY they spent time in LA as staff writers for Warner/Chappell Music, authoring hits for artists like Cher, Pat Benatar, Teddy Pendergrass and Nancy Wilson. Now back on their home turf they record and perform to the delight of audiences up and down the eastern seaboard. Check out their website and recordings at http://www.toohumanonline.com and if you're ever in the neighborhood to catch them live, you'll be real glad you did.
Excellent independent music that deserves to be heard. Enjoy the music, and tell 'em Dean sent you.
